Stand Tall in True Worth

Sunflower nurtures healthy self-esteem, freeing you
from old patterns so your value shines naturally.

Adding to basket… The item has been added

Sunflower works on father wounds and softens distortions in relationships with those in authority. When we grow up with a conflicted relationship, or lack of relationship, to our fathers, it plays into self-esteem issues. We also tend to project the natural relationship we had with our fathers onto how we see God. None of us had perfect fathers in the natural; our issues may cause a block in our ability to receive from the Father, who is perfect.

This dynamic also impacts insecurity, where the person continually tries to convince others of their value. Sunflower is corrective of both insecurity and pride, bringing the person into balance in the grand scheme of things.

For Animals

For the animal whose compliance problem is really an authority problem. It swings between excessive submission and sudden defiance depending on who is handling it, and cannot find a stable middle ground. This is the dog that cowers and belly-crawls for a firm handler but becomes pushy and dominant with a soft one. The horse that is either groveling or posturing, never just settled. The rescue animal that alternates between submissive urination and unexpected snapping, as though it cannot calibrate how much power it has in any given relationship. Where Boxwood addresses compliance beaten in by training and Plumbago addresses compliance driven by shame, Sunflower addresses the animal whose entire relationship to authority is distorted. It over-defers to strong personalities and over-compensates with weak ones. The ego pendulum swings because the animal never developed a stable sense of its own standing. Sunflower builds genuine, balanced self-assurance that does not inflate in the presence of softness or collapse in the presence of firmness. Note: the handler or owner's own authority style is frequently a factor here. (If the animal was trained into rigid obedience and lost its spark, see Boxwood. If it people-pleases from guilt and shame, see Plumbago. If it has simply given up and gone flat, see Horseradish.)

Frequently Asked Questions

What are flower essences?

Flower essences are energetic remedies made by capturing the vibrational imprint of a flower in water. They're designed to help shift emotional and mental patterns by interacting with the body’s energetic field.

Are they essential oils?

Nope—totally different category. Flower essences are made using only the blossoms of a plant and are considered energetic remedies. They contain no scent and are usually taken orally. Essential oils are aromatic extracts made from various parts of a plant and act through biochemical pathways.

Are they safe?

Flower essences are generally considered safe for all ages, including babies, pets, pregnant women, and those on medications. They're non-toxic and contain no chemical plant parts.

Yes—our essences only contain the vibrational imprint of flowers, not any physical plant matter. However, droppers contain latex and we use brandy as a preservative—contact us if you need an alternative.
